POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for steering us toward greater levels of success. As General Manager, it will be crucial for you to provide strategic guidance that will empower our team to exceed the expectations of our guests and clients consistently. This will require your natural leadership, financial proficiency and excellent communication skills to ensure the team is focused and aligned in meeting our company goals.
What does this role look like day to day?
Each day, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including guest and homeowner experience, financial performance, and optimization of our operations. Putting that into practical terms could mean starting your day by reviewing guest or client feedback and implementing processes that improve our efficiency. Afternoons could involve meeting with various team members to offer mentorship or support and connecting with clients and property owners to discuss their returns and management plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing vacation rental operations, including guest engagement, HR, financial performance, maintenance, and program management.
- Effectively communicate the vision, leadership, and strategy to support the goal of our founders with integrity, accountability, and dedication.
- Work collaboratively with the finance department and management team to develop and manage the annual budget as well as meet financial goals.
- Foster and maintain professional and positive relationships with staff, contractors, vendors, guests, and homeowners, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
- Attract, hire, train and develop programs to maximize engagement and improve efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Years of relevant experience in the vacation rental industry with a 4-year degree is preferred.
- Able to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's overall vision and goals with demonstrated success.
- Strong team and personnel management skills. Motivate staff to perform at a high level and exceed organizational and personal goals.
- Experience in managing daily operations in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests, property owners and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office as well as experience with Property Management Software (Streamline) a plus.
- Strong financial management skills
- Familiar with risk management in the hospitality industry, including compliance with industry regulations.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 salary based on experience with an OTE (On-Track-Earnings) of $125,000
Bonus: Performance-based KPI bonus

Schedule: Able to work regular business hours with the flexibility to work after hours and on weekends as needed. Note this is an on-site position
