Position Summary
Do you have a passion for delivering superior guest service while taking the initiative to help lead? We are looking for dependable, people-focused Team Leads to contribute to our success by supporting the Operations Teams in driving attraction operations, sales, and safety while guiding and sustaining an environment to support BLT’s core values.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure the Team displays high-performance skills focused on delivering legendary guest experiences.
· Provide daily guidance and report any training needs to the Operations Management Team.
· Provide operational support for special events.
· Serve as a role model of the company mission, values, guiding principles by motivating and supporting the Team.
· Become knowledgeable of all established company policies and procedures.
· Ensure the facility maintains a safe and clean environment for the Team and guests.
· Capably perform all duties of the Techno-Tainers.
· Display leadership level reasoning and good problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
· Punctuality! Must have excellent time management skills - be on time for each shift, ready to work with prompt return from breaks and lunch.
· Must be available for a variety of shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Able to become knowledgeable about the various games, exhibits, and topics in each gallery as well as the general information about photo sales and gift shop “push” items.
· Must become knowledgeable of all safety procedures and protocols AND strictly follow all safety protocols for each exhibit.
· Sell admissions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a positive interaction.
· Excellent customer service skills.
· Maintain clear, courteous, and positive communication with all guests and team members.
· Maintain a positive, cheerful attitude.
· Keep workstations clean and orderly.
· Perform cleaning tasks as requested by management.
· Present for each shift with good personal hygiene and cleanliness standards to include a neat and well-maintained uniform.
· Maintain confidentiality of proprietary company information that guests, or vendors, do not need to know.
Physical Demands:
This is not a sedentary role. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, ideal candidates will be frequently required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands/fingers, handle/touch objects, tools, and controls. Occasional requirements include the ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 25 lbs.
