Position Summary: Responsible for the day to day Quality Assurance programs in the plant.
Essential Duties:
- Production paperwork set up. Pre-operation inspection and audits, ATP testing. Lab set up and calibrations.
- Line checks. Monitor line quality and conditions. Maintain and insure accurate production paperwork. Paperwork verification throughout shift and post production.
- Daily and 24 Hour Product Testing.
- HACCP review. SOP review. Gold sheet process. Document control and record maintenance.
- Incoming inspection program. Review C of A’s for incoming ingredients. Supplier verification paperwork.
- Plant Audits.
- Identity preserved programs paperwork support. JDE support. Trace Gains support. Devex support.
- Testing. Retain Shelf-Life Maintenance and testing. EMP testing. Gluten testing. Etc.
- Maintain, order and stock QA supplies as needed.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Support the Safety Committee. Maintain, order and stock QA supplies as needed.
Minimum Experience: 1 to 2 Years of Food Manufacturing Experience
Specialized Training/Certification:
- Computer experience, Microsoft Word and Excel - Required
- Formulation, Batching, production paperwork knowledge and training - Preferred
- HACCP and SQF Certification - Preferred
- Experience with Lab Equipment - Preferred
