Role Overview


As a Mobility Strategy Partner, you will contribute to BGRS’ success by partnering with a variety of business units that enables global mobility for all of the business needs.

Mobility Strategy Partner will counsel our Client’s business on all aspects of domestic and international mobility including: the benefits offered, tax compliance, compensation, immigration, and country conditions/lifestyle. They will be responsible for supporting in maintaining a compliant program within budget guidelines and finding creative solutions where needed. They will also ensure a smooth hand-off to the assigned consultant.



The position is subject to the vaccination mandate under Executive Order 14042. The individual selected for this position will be defined as a “Covered Employee”, in compliance with FAR 52.223-99 and will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by the deadline for newly hired, covered employees, subject to legal exemptions.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide guidance to Client’s HR Business Partners, Market HR, Recruiters and People Leaders on the mobility programs / policy selection to best suit the candidate needs based on specific situations and budget on a global basis
  • Works effectively with the Client to find business efficient solutions as needed
  • Tracks all discussions with Client and Client’s colleagues not yet authorized to BGRS for an assignment
  • Communicates with the Consultants on active files at the point that an initiation is submitted  - providing background information about HR discussion to date.
  • Attend senior program discussions with business and Consultant at kick off stage as needed
  • Provide mobility training to Resourcing and/or HR, as requested
  • Support with tax, immigration, and program compliance, as requested
  • Build productive and effective relationships with client and direct suppliers as well as within BGRS
  • Maintains data integrity, including updating the BGRS client database and provides the required data for the production of status reports
  • Participates as required in special projects to develop BGRS’ value

What You Bring to BGRS
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent required
  • Expatriate tax experience preferred. 
  • Minimum combined 3 years’ experience as an International Assignment Manager, Relocation Consultant/People Manager or similar customer service roles with understanding of escalation management and high touch customer focus.
  • Real estate experience preferred (real estate sales, title/escrow or mortgage)
  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge in the areas of immigration across global country combinations, balance sheets, assignment package review, assignee transfer process, international payroll issues (including reconciliations) year–end process, reporting requirements, cost projections and policy development, tax compliance and requirements, and the application of this knowledge to moderately complex client situations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business, helping to manage the mobility services, working with assignees and suppliers, and understanding the client organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure quality and timely completion
  • Excellent oral and presentation skills, with fluency in speaking and writing in English
  • Additional language capabilities advantageous
  • Effective and efficient in decision making, conflict management and problem resolution
  • Self starter with minimal oversight
  • Ability to sell an idea and/or reason to a solution
  • Outstanding deductive reasoning with the ability to make quick decisions within compliance
  • Ability to handle high stress and escalation situations and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Proficient in IT applications (e.g., Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Some travel may be required
  • Position may require off-hours flexibility/ability to work across global time zones
  • Individual must be detail orientated
  • Role may include people management responsibility
