Position Summary
Seeks to hire a Software Developer (Data Integrations, Workflows, and Reporting) to support the execution of our firm’s project initiatives. Additionally, you will have opportunities to advance the firm’s cloud and data strategies using leading cloud platforms and tools.

Seeks to hire a Software Developer (Data Integrations, Workflows, and Reporting) to support the execution of our firm’s project initiatives. Additionally, you will have opportunities to advance the firm’s cloud and data strategies using leading cloud platforms and tools.
The primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Owning the design, coding, and bug-fixing for “small” projects. This work will consist of fixing or updating existing data integrations, SSRS reports, and data loads into Snowflake.
- Maintaining effective communications with team leader, team members, sponsors, and other Staff
- Executing ad-hoc development projects, building data integration feeds and SSRS reports and automation.
- Actively participate in daily standups and bi-weekly backlog grooming sessions based on the Agile framework (via Microsoft Teams or in person)
- Submit development projects for peer review and change management before deployment to Production.
- Complete other related duties or projects as required, which may include facilitating daily standups in the role of Scrum Master
- Financial Services / Asset Management industry exposure/experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field.
- 5 years of application development experience.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile SCRUM boards.
- Ability to work in an office location (20% onsite, 80% remote).
- Ability to comply with our COVID-19 vaccination policy.
- Firsthand experience with data and API integration projects.
- Experience with common web connectivity and integration standards/protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, and JDBC.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience with financial accounting and trading technologies (i.e., Charles River Investment Management Solution, Advent APX Portfolio Management and Accounting, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with one or more integration technologies (i.e., SSIS, Boomi, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with Jira is a plus or any other similar project visualization tool (i.e., Rally, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- PowerShell experience is a plus.
- Experience with GitHub is a plus.
- Experience with Reporting Tools (SSRS, Tableau)
- Experience with ETL Tools
- Experience with MS Office Automation is a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Desire and ability to learn new skills and tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)
