RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet or exceed sales and project profit targets.
- Manage Existing Account Relationships.
- Maintain & Nurture Existing Accounts to increase sales.
- Expand client contacts within Existing Accounts.
- Conduct regular value-based customer contacts.
- Serve as key contact in escalation issues.
- New Account Development
- Define strategic business plan and execute against sales goals.
- Qualify new opportunities provided through marketing & trade shows.
- Cultivate new opportunities through referrals and networking.
- New Market Development
- Discover new product solutions, markets and applications.
- Identify marketing material needs and assist with content development.
- General / Administration
- Manage leads in the CRM for tracking, reporting, internal communication and follow up.
- Respond to RFQs and develop strategies to close sales.
- Develop solution concepts and sales proposals.
- Keep current on industry and market trends, new technology, tools, and software.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- College level in Science, Engineering, Business, or other relevant academic field.
- Minimum five (5) years experience selling industrial equipment/machinery to end users, senior management / (C-suite preferred).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 50% of time.
- CRM experience and experience utilizing Microsoft 365 suite applications.
- Engineering background in design, build and install or service of custom equipment would be considered an asset.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Occasional overnight, weekend and extended travel as required, potentially international.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Valid auto insurance required
- Valid passport preferred.
COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of the capital equipment market conditions, automation solutions and competitive landscape in addition to a robust understanding of general manufacturing practices.
- Proven sales track record in the manufacturing, automation and/or capital equipment industry.
- Ability to work with and gather pertinent information from all manufacturing levels. Build trust while developing strategic opportunities from key decision makers and influencers within existing and new customers.
- Proven skills in building and expanding customer relationships.
- Strong presentation skills coupled with awareness to adapt to your style, tone, and message to match your audience.
- Sharp negotiation skills honed to close deals with successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
SALARY:
$105k - $120K commissions full benefits as seen below!
