Project Manager / Estimator

Biehn's Floorworks & Design, Inc. is family owned business that has been serving customers for 30 years. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator familiar with wood flooring to add to our team. Description:

• Meet with customers and clients in their homes and/or job sites to gather information.
• Accurately hand sketch and field measure floor plans in order to recreate floor plans using AutoCad.
• Assemble an estimate/bid from accurate AutoCad data using Microsoft Excel.
• Write descriptive contracts based on material selections, scope of work and information gathered from field measurements.
• Work with the customer, suppliers, staff and contractors to expedite/manage projects once the contract has been awarded.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to work on time.
• Prior experience utilizing AutoCad and Excel.
• Precise measuring skills.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate professionally and politely with customers.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependability.
• Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday (7:00 - 4:00)

Experience:

• Previous experience in the management side of the flooring business is preferred.
• Willing to train a highly motivated candidate that has basic Cad skills, common sense and is willing to learn the flooring business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
