Charge Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic
Full-Time Position - Alpine Clinic
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Job Summary:
- Oversees the operations of the nursing unit while working alongside the team
- Will also act as triage nurse on behalf of the RHC evaluating patients to determine if the patient needs to be seen same day or can safely be scheduled for the next available appointment
- Implements and documents nursing care, assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Performs a variety of tasks
- Typically reports to a manager or director. Requires an associate degree and is certified as a registered nurse
Qualifications:
- Requires an associate's degree in nursing
- Prefer bachelor's degree in nursing
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
