Job Posting for Assistant Packaging Technician at Big Ditch Brewing Company
Big Ditch Brewing Company is seeking an Assistant Packaging Technician to join our brewery operations staff.
The primary responsibilities of this position will be packaging our beer for sale and distribution. This position is also responsible for operations safety, quality, performance and teamwork.
Duties:
- Operates packaging equipment including canning and kegging equipment.
- Cleans and sanitizes production equipment.
- Perform daily clean-up and organization of the manufacturing area.
- Adheres to all regulations, including the proper usage of PPE as well as Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience, preferably in packaging. Formal education, a degree in brewery operations, or homebrewing experience is a plus. Mechanically inclined. Works well both independently and cooperatively with others. Must be detail oriented and quality focused. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, team oriented, and fun environment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
