The Pool Technician is responsible for treating and maintaining pools and waterways.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain cleanliness and organization Pump rooms
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedule is completed in accordance to Facilities Manager guidelines.
- Ensure pool chemistry is maintained in accordance with local bather code.
- Backwash pools when needed.
- Maintain inventory controls of pool chemicals and testing chemicals.
- Diagnose and repair chemical feeders.
- Diagnose and repair chemical probes and controllers.
- Maintain cleanliness of pools.
- Ensure pools are tested and logged in accordance to local bather code.
- Maintain records and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one-year related work experience.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Proficient with MS Office software.
- Proficient in English.
- Certified Pool Technician or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
- Ability to withstand a variety of indoor environmental conditions.
- Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
