What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at Biggby Coffee?
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and staff management
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service
- Implement strategies to drive store sales and achieve profitability goals
- Ensure proper inventory control procedures are followed to minimize stock loss and maximize sales opportunities
- Managing staff, including making sure dress code policy and timeliness are enforced
- Order supply truck 1-2 times per week
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff to maintain a high level of customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales and store management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent sales skills with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- High level of responsibility - Access to employees, timeliness, and reliability required
- Ability to effectively recruit, train, and supervise staff
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, employees, and vendors efficiently
Note: You will have an experienced counterpart available to train you as you learn the job, and he will remain available when needed. He will also execute store scheduling, store financial reporting, and hiring.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
