We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Tigard, OR for the 2023-2024 school year. This is a full-time position, requiring on-site presence. Responsibilities: As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' emotional well-being, behavior management, and academic success. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing individual and group counseling to students with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Running small group and problem-solving counseling sessions
- Collaborating with teachers and classroom staff to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
- Utilizing de-escalation strategies and interventions during behavioral outbursts or crises
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to support SLD identification using the RTI framework
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students' social-emotional goals and accommodations
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records
- Utilizing Google Suite tools for efficient communication and documentation
Requirements:
- Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Oregon
- Experience working with high school students with severe emotional and behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) for Specific Learning Disability (SLD) identification
- Proficient to high-level skills in using Google Suite tools
