We have an excellent opportunity with our Accounting Team. This opportunity includes but is not limited to, Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management, and General Accounting
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting the company with efficient and effective financial operations by compiling, processing and maintaining accurate accounts payable, cash receipts, accounts receivable, credit and collections work, inventory management and other accounting needs.
The Accountant will perform the following tasks:
- Verify that all invoices are processed accurately
- Assist in updating and maintaining vendor database
- Ability to process and follow-up on items as needed
- Maintain accounts payable files
- Exceptional customer service and vendor relationships
- May do some accounts receivable e-mail collection work
- Purchase Order entry/Maintenance
- Item entry/Maintenance
- Inventory Pricing/maintenance
- Credit References
- Phone Support & Filing back-up
- Special projects as assigned
- Other as required and or able
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with corporate accounting software
- Infor SXe experience is preferred but not required
- High School diploma required. Two-year Accounting degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, and maintain professionalism
- Must be reliable, dependable and have a solid work history
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Attention to detail, accuracy is imperative
- Able to meet deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (excel, word, etc) and Outlook
- Candidates must pass a criminal and drug background check.
