Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours (Exempt)

The Manager is responsible for the day-to-day directing of a comprehensive, multifaceted program for the Rehabilitation Services Department. Services may include physical, occupational, speech language therapies, cardiac rehabilitation, home health therapy services and sports medicine. Ensure continuity and consistency across and throughout the department. Ensures the delivery of quality, cost-effective healthcare services in line with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and goals. Accountabilities include collaborative strategic planning, quality assurance of services, achieve departmental goals and objectives, physician and interdepartmental relations, and personnel management.
Essential Job Functions
- In collaboration with Clinic and Ancillary Services Director, physician leadership, other medical staff, and other health care providers, leads, develops, and revises quality programs which enhance the business unit. Provide insight into departmental priorities to be accomplished and how resources will be allocated. Acts as a recognized area expert within the facility and to other health care providers.
- Collaborates with Director and CEO for strategic direction, program planning, development, and implementation for all aspects of
- Assesses program and service offerings and needs of populations served.
- Responsible for management of patient satisfaction for services.
- Coordinates with Marketing rehabilitation services, program development, and service priorities that support a quality-focused environment and the financial objectives of the organization/business unit/department.
- Oversees staffing and staff education programs.
- Practices process improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of the service/care provided within business unit.
- Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance for business unit and ensures business unit and staff compliance.
- Assists in developing, retention, recruitment, and leads a talented management team committed to accomplishing the organizational/business unit goals, objectives, and corporate compliance.
- Demonstrates and encourages an ethic of open communication and teamwork throughout the organization. Builds an environment of shared commitment to organization goals and responsibility to achieve quality outcomes.
- Maintains clinical expertise and participates in providing direct patient care in area of licensure approximately 60% of worked time.
- Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.
- Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety, or job performance.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in health care related field; Master’s degree preferred
Experience
- Two years in therapy related field, experience with management/leadership and program management preferred
Certifications and Licenses
- Current Montana state license in appropriate rehabilitation services discipline
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Current Montana driver’s license and the ability to be insured to operate vehicles
