· Run the lunch or dinner line depending on schedule
· Prepare chowders, daily specials and soup of the day
· Manage the coordination between the front and back of the house during service
· Trouble shoot any complaints with the food
· Place nightly orders for seafood and produce
· Nightly inventory for kitchen mis en place
· Delegate daily prep schedule
· Assist the kitchen manager with scheduling
· Maintain proper decorum in the kitchen

You will open or close the restaurant, set up or breakdown the kitchen, prepare daily specials including soups and run the dinner or lunch line depending on the shift. As an employee in the kitchen, you will work with our kitchen management team, general manager, dining room managers and the owner.

Being on the coast of Maine, we are subject to the different seasons, summer being our busiest. We close for 7 weeks every year, and all our managers are paid full salary during the shutdown. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per year (plus annual bonus).
