Description:
Position Summary:
The Human Relations Intern will support the Human Relations team and provide valuable support in carrying out the day-to-date HR functions of the organization.
This position demands an uncommon balance of creativity and drive, along with interpersonal savvy and analytical skills. You must have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
Human Relations experience not necessary. We can train the right person who has a desire to learn and grow in the fields of human resources.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Human Relations team to determine strategy for complex, hard to fill role and any special projects.
- Balance and successfully manage the Human Relations functions across multiple sites.
- Administer and execute recruitment processes to hire for current openings and proactively develop a pipeline of talent for the organization.
- Provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions through sourcing passive candidates, networking, complex internet searches, and employee referrals.
- Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, department background, job descriptions, and expectations.
- Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about BBU and the position.
- Review candidate resumes, credentials, and perform initial phone screens for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Achieve high levels of internal customer satisfaction based on the creation of intentional and consistent feedback loop.

Education and Work History:
- Candidate should be currently in pursuit of a degree with a focus in Human Resources. Flexible schedule available, however, must be willing to work at minimum 30 hours / week.
- Maintenance of the confidentiality of any personal or company information encountered.
- Excellent organizational and communication (written & oral) skills.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
