Job Summary:
BIM Technology Management (BIMTM) is seeking a creative and motivated Junior Social Media Manager to join our team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to grow into a marketing manager role with proven success. The Junior Social Media Manager will report to the President and Sales Director, while working in the office to manage and enhance our social media presence across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation and Management: Develop, post, and manage engaging content for all social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms. Create eye-catching social media graphics, videos, and images using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar.
- Content Writing: Write compelling and creative content for blogs, newsletters, and social media posts that align with BIMTM’s brand voice and objectives. Craft engaging captions, hashtags, and other written content to drive engagement and reach.
- Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos for use in social media and marketing campaigns. Edit and produce visual content that showcases BIMTM’s projects, events, and team.
- Event Planning and Management: Assist in planning and managing company events, including the BIMTM podcast, webinars, and internal company parties. Promote events through social media channels and engage with attendees online.
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms. Foster a sense of community and engage with followers to build relationships and brand loyalty.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics. Provide regular reports on social media activities and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience with social media management, either through internships, academic projects, or personal initiatives.
- Experience in Construction, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and/or the Architectural Engineering Construction (AEC) market is preferred.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
- Basic graphic design skills (experience with Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
- Strong writing skills and the ability to create engaging content.
- Basic photography and videography skills, with experience in editing software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow within the role.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
