What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of construction and utility inspection services experience
- Highly motivated and works well with minimal supervision
- Capable of performing basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to use personal computers and applicable programs such as Microsoft Office
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Work under exposure to inclement weather conditions
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of TxDOT specifications and standards
- Able to read and interpret plans, specifications and applicable standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; basic knowledge of Spanish is desirable
- Ability and willingness to work day or night shifts and/or flexible schedules as required to support the project requirements
- Ability to travel to projects outside of the Central Texas area to attend meetings
- Ability to work in small spaces and move up to 50 pounds
- Valid Class C driver’s license
- High School diploma or GED
- Additional projects as assigned
