Job Summary
This position will be responsible for providing primary onsite support to employees in BioLegend’s San Diego offices and to its remote workers. Additional support duties will include remote assistance to employees located at other BioLegend sites. The ideal candidate will be positive, energetic, and detail oriented while working in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions

- Provides basic support for Windows PCs/laptops, printers, telephones and other IT infrastructure
- Responds to IT request tickets in a timely manner
- Performs asset management activities (inventory tracking, distribution, etc.)
- Support procurement process

Responsible for the new employee and termination process which includes:
- Management of accounts
- Equipment/Desk setup
- Archiving data recovery of equipment
- Uses problem solving skills to fix software and hardware issues
- Manage warranty services onsite and work with third-party vendors.
- Assists colleagues with global Infrastructure projects and tasks where needed
- Conducts training sessions on newly implemented technologies to educate staff when needed
- Support all processes relating to local Infrastructure, change management, and collaborate with IT-Infrastructure for standardized processes.
- Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- 3 years of desktop support experience in a business environment
- In-depth understanding of Windows desktop operating systems
- Working understanding of network technologies, including VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPN
- Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and file server permissions
- Experience supporting MS Office Products and tools, including MS Teams
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a focus around Microsoft technologies
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Degree or certification in an IT specific discipline

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego, California is $21.63-27.88/hour. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. BioLegend is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states
