Area Sales Manager - Charlotte, NC
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to help grow BIOLYTE’s footprint in Charlotte, NC. This individual will be responsible for expanding BIOLYTE into new retail outlets, supporting existing customers, and facilitating local sampling events. In addition, this person will travel to represent BIOLYTE at major events throughout the country.
Definition of Success:
Increase BIOLYTE’s brand awareness by introducing at least 100,000 new people to the brand.
Responsibilities:
1. Proactively support the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for this territory by opening independent accounts, engaging in chain promotions, and aiding existing retailers
- Work alongside the RSM to identify and activate independent accounts including gyms, country clubs, recreation centers, hotels, liquor stores, convenient stores, and grocery stores across Charlotte, NC.
- Primarily activate new accounts that are serviced by our distributors, as well as a portion of new wholesale accounts
- Help manage chain promotions and assist retailers with their needs d. Visit existing retail outlets to optimize their placement of BIOLYTE
2. Facilitate sampling events at local venues and retail outlets
- Stay up to date regarding the popular events happening around the city that would offer potential opportunities for people to try BIOLYTE
- Help engage new retail customers by facilitating sampling opportunities and micro-events throughout Charlotte
3. Work alongside BIOLYTE’s Experiential Events Manager to advocate for BIOLYTE at events throughout the year
- Represent BIOLYTE at major events happening throughout the country
- Act as the “face” of BIOLYTE by representing the brand enthusiastically in a multitude of settings. (races, festivals, trade shows, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Currently lives in Charlotte, NC
- Growing up in Charlotte, NC a plus
- Means of transportation required

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Travel
- Heavy travel throughout Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas
- Availability to work on weekends in order to travel to events and host sampling opportunities
- Frequent national travel to events throughout the country

Compensation
- Base depending on experience

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
