Part Time Afternoon Nanny in South Buckhead
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00-6:00pm. Guaranteed hours.
Pay: $27-30 paid through payroll. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off.
Start Date: ASAP. Family are looking to have their nanny for the long term!
Children: Two boys, 3yo and 5yo. Healthy and happy!
The parents are looking for a fun afternoon nanny! Someone who is ready to strap on their tennis shoes because these boys like to play! They love the outdoors and going to parks.
The family are looking for a nanny who can make the weekly schedules and keep the boys active. They’d love someone who can introduce her hobbies to the kids so they learn new and interesting things. Their perfect nanny is fun, cheerful, doesn’t tire easily, and someone who can be a great friend to the boys.
The general day-to-day will be picking up the kids from school at 1:15 then heading home for 1 hour quiet time in their bedrooms. While they’re laying down, the nanny prepares their book bags, cleans their lunch boxes and makes lunch for the next day, folds the children’s laundry, and other child-related duties like organizing toys, rotating seasonal clothing, etc. After quiet time, it’s play time! The nanny plans the daily and weekly activities and hopefully keeps an interesting and enriching week for the boys.
Responsibilities:
- Provide all aspects of childcare and supervision when the children are out of school.
- Provide emotional and behavioral support and ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Preparing healthy and nutritious meals/snacks daily for the children.
- Children’s laundry, toy clean up, light organization, cleaning up after meals, seasonal clothing rotation, and other childcare related duties.
- Transport the children to and from school and their after school activities.
- Keep a tidy home after a day of play.
Requirements:
- Have a thorough understanding of childhood milestones and know the basic requirements of a professional nanny including food safety, general hygiene, age-appropriate activities, first-aid/safety/emergency procedures and car seat installation.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
- Minimum 3 years professional childcare experience.
- Ability to swim
One dog is currently in the home, super laid back 9 year old standard poodle. No pet care is needed outside of occasionally opening the back door for the doggie.
