Department: Cage
Supervised by: Lead Cashier/Cash Operations Manager
Rate of Pay: $14.00/ Hr. Base Pay, DOQ, (tipped position)
FLSA: Non-Exempt: Hourly, Regular Full-Time
POSITION SUMMARY:
Delivers excellent customer service at all times. Responsible for accurately processing customer transactions and
accountable for assigned cash drawer. Protect casino assets at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Working in conjunction with other cashiers assisting the Lead Cashier/Cash Operations Manager with the daily
operations.
2. Set-up and verify cash amounts in tills and tables.
3. Safeguards casino assets.
4. Counts and verifies all cash/coin/chip transactions in the cage.
5. Makes change for customers and exchange coin/chips for cash.
6. Properly endorse receipts/vouchers for cash received and cash disbursements. Maintain cash receipts and
disbursements by shift or sessions.
7. Complies with federal cash reporting requirements, including Title 31.
8. Check and verify Jackpot Payout Slips for completion.
9. Performs all duties, responsibilities, and requirements such as redemption, vault/main bank, check cashing,
cage exchanges and payouts.
10. Prepare and furnish to Lead Cashier/Cash Operations Manager open-close balance sheets at beginning or end
of shift.
11. Must be able to work any shift including splits, evenings, weekends and holidays according to established
procedures.
12. Ensure that rules and laws applicable to the gaming operation are enforced and abided by.
13. Must report violations to appropriate authorities as necessary.
14. Must learn the Bishop Gaming Enterprises Policies and Procedures and be willing to enforce and abide by those
procedures.
15. Provide excellent customer service.
16. All other gaming and job-related duties as assigned by Lead Cashier/Cash Operations Manager.

None
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
> High School Diploma, HSED or GED is required. Additional education beyond high school, and job-related
experience would take precedence in selection.
> Previous cashier or money handling experience desired.
> Ability to use a Ten Key Adding Machine desired.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
> Ability to communicate in English with customers, co-workers and Management is required.
> Ability to inform and communicate orally and in writing in diverse and challenging situations is required.
> Ability to process information effectively to learn new materials, identify and define problems and to make
decisions is required.
> Knowledge and proficient in basic mathematics.
> Ability to become familiar with all cage functions.
> Must possess ability to interact with the public and fellow employees, demonstrating respect, tact, courtesy,
objectivity and maturity to develop an effective and cooperative working relationship.
> Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
> Ability and willingness to attend additional training is required.
> Able to hear and speak effectively in a noisy environment.
> Must be able to work various schedules, on an as-needed basis; as work schedules could vary and will
involve day, evening or nighttime hours during the week and/or on weekends.
> Must meet requirements to qualify for a Bishop Paiute Gaming License. Must pass an extensive background
check.
> Cannot have any cash related criminal convictions.
> Must pass pre-employment drug test.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
> Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential

> Team member will be required to stand, walk, climb stairs, sit, grasp, bend lift and/or carry up to a minimum
of 25 pounds on an intermittent basis.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Noise levels are moderate to loud. Work involves frequent exposure to extreme heat and cold, cooking fumes and
odors. Special hazards include sharp knives and utensils, open flames and hazardous food materials and cleaning
solutions.
