JOB FUNCTION:

 

To spearhead the conception and execution of the annual Total Resource Campaign and event sponsorships, fostering member engagement and augmenting non-dues revenue for the organization. The Sales Coordinator will additionally assume the responsibility of cultivating and nurturing relationships with Chamber EDC members, alongside key stakeholders in advertising.


ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and Events. Performance evaluations will be conducted based on criteria including the quality and quantity of work, accuracy, efficiency, and the employee's contribution to the overall effectiveness of the organization. Additionally, the attainment of established goals for the individual employee will be assessed.

 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Event Sales

·       Continue to grow sales by acquiring sponsorships for Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC events.

·       Manage and develop the Total Resource Campaign.

·       Maintain sponsorship database.


Publications Sales

·       Identify and acquire advertisers for Chamber EDC publications to meet revenue goals.

Publications include: The monthly Connection and weekly newsletter.

·       Maintain and continue to build upon advertising schedule.


Communication

·       Advance and develop consistency in Chamber EDC branding.

·       Work with communication team in assistance with correct advertising in each publication.

·       Monthly reminder to advertisers to submit ads before deadline set up by communication team.

Premier Package

·       Contact membership to offer Premier Package add on to membership dues.

·       Individual meetings will be conducted to ensure members understand what the value add includes.

Other

·       Directly responsible for monthly Mixers-set up and execution.

·       responsible for creating initial invoices for Connection, E-Newsletter and sponsorships as well as following up on past due invoices to include making collection calls to finalize the invoices. 

·       Other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales and Events.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and sales experience. Word and Excel experience required, and experience will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this position.

EDUCATION:

A four-year college degree required.
