Overview/Function of Position
Our team of Registered Behavior Technicians are a vital role in implementing behavior reduction strategies for students and classrooms. The primary function of this position is to provide meaningful and play based engagement with individuals with special needs, teaching them important skills to better quality of life and accessing various opportunities in their homes and communities. You will be supported by a team of BCBAs who are experts in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis through direct supervision and continuing education!
Job Duties & Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
- Ability to be creative, fun, and engaging with learners ages 2-18 years
- Basic knowledge of ABA (training provided during onboarding)
- Accept and incorporate corrective feedback given by supervising BCBA and or BISTA Administration
- Provide feedback to supervisors and administration to support growth of clients and BISTA
- Skilled at providing direct service ABA to clients by following and implementing the supervising BCBA’s treatment plan and recommendations in a fun and child-friendly demeanor when working with clients
- Perform related duties, special assignments, and projects as required by supervising BCBA’s or BISTA Administration
- Regularly use Central Reach for client session data recording and timely timesheet management (training provided)
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times when working with clients, families, supervisors, and coworkers

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills
- Desire to be an integral role in helping special needs children reach their fullest potential
Preferred Qualifications (but not required for hire):
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and maintains on a yearly basis with the BCBA (training will be provided if you do not have this certificate)
- Experience working with children of various age ranges
- Experience in behavior-based programming for individuals with Autism or other disabilities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
