We are hiring a Senior UX Researcher that will lead several projects, identifying user needs that drive customer-centered design solutions across our retail experiences in both our website and mobile app.

What you will be doing:
- Represent the needs/voice of the customer throughout discovery, design, and post launch.
- Work closely with design and product teams to create research plans and objectives that align with the business goals and timelines.
- Prioritize and drive research to improve user experience through mixed method research projects.
- Proactively identify areas where research would be valuable and guide teams to create appropriate studies or research approaches
- Help to develop, validate, and socialize our customer personas.
- Extract and synthesize data to effectively communicate with and present findings to a variety of audiences while also creating empathy for our customers.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of direct UX Research experience with consumer facing digital products, websites, and mobile experiences
- Degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, a related field (or equivalent/demonstrable work experience)
- Experience conducting research using of a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, from moderated and unmoderated usability testing and contextual inquiry; to survey design, participatory design, ethnography, persona creation, etc.
- Strong understanding of strengths and weaknesses of different research methods and understanding when and how to apply them during each product phase
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, project management and presentation skills
- Experience collaborating closely with UX Designers and Product Managers

- An available research portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports).
- Experience in an Agile software environment
- Experience working on a remote team
- Experience with testing with international audiences
- Personal experience with cryptocurrency
