ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a Contract manager to provide efficient support for our contract activities in both of Federal and Commercial area, and to support the ongoing operations of our company. This person will be responsible for performing contract-related activities including but not limited to U.S. Gov. Contract Vehicles, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, and other international transactions requested from various departments and projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Negotiates and administers contracts and assists with contract termination procedures.
• Performs basic analyses for firm fixed prices or similar contracts.
• Participates as a team member on an acquisition management review team or on an equivalent assignment.
• Conducts basic procurement procedures and techniques.
• Performs commonly-used contracting methods and contract types related to pre-award, post-award, and/or price/cost analysis functions to perform well-defined and precedent contract actions.
• Analyzes business practices and market conditions to evaluate bid responsiveness, contractor responsibility, and contractor performance.
• Presents information; composes memoranda, minutes, and reports; and drafts contract provisions and supporting documents.
• Solicits sources of supply and analyzes prices, discount rates, delivery dates, transportation charges, previous performance, commitments, and indications of financial responsibility and recommends the most advantageous offer.
• Assigns work in terms of objectives, priorities, and deadlines and provides additional assistance with new or ad-hoc assignments.
• Plans and carries out recurring work using established procedures, conferring with the supervisor or higher-level specialists as necessary on technical problems.

Qualifications:

• Current knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and legal regulatory requirements
• Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with subcontractors, monitoring performance and conformance to original proposals.
• Proven experienced knowledge of U.S. Government Contract Vehicles and Teaming Agreement Procedures, especially with agencies such as HHS and Veterans Affairs
• Proven knowledge and hands-on ability with SBA and GSA-related filing and modifications, including Federal Pricing 
• 5 Years experience with BOTH of Software Product & IT Service Industries
• 3 years experience with Commercial & International Contracting
• Able to work independently with little to no supervision.

Preferences: 

• Active TS or Secret Level Clearances
• Proven experience to handle/being involved with any of DoD/Intel related Contracting as a Prime
• Proven experience with IP (Intellectual Property) related work, including Trademark, Copy Wright, and Patent application management.
• Bilingual in English and Korean  
• U.S. Citizen
