What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at BJ Services, LLC?

  • Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the District
  • Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system. Retrieves information from files when needed
  • Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls.
  • Sorts and distributes mail
  • Answers phones. Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions. Works in cooperation with other assistants to cover phones
  • Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary
  • Provides HR support to employees and elevate significant issues to Regional HR
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects
  • Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • Two-Four years of administrative experience
  • Payroll and Human Resources exposure/experience preferred
  • Oil and Gas Experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate level Excel skills; and Workday or other HRIS with ability to manipulate data
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
  • Flexibility to provide support to all departments when needed
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work with excellent organizational skills
  • Team player who takes initiative to make improvements and accomplish work before being asked and collaborates well in a team environment
