What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at BJ Services, LLC?
- Schedules and organizes complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities for all members of the District
- Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing system. Retrieves information from files when needed
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information and calls.
- Sorts and distributes mail
- Answers phones. Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions. Works in cooperation with other assistants to cover phones
- Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary
- Provides HR support to employees and elevate significant issues to Regional HR
- Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects
- Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, Associates Degree or higher preferred
- Two-Four years of administrative experience
- Payroll and Human Resources exposure/experience preferred
- Oil and Gas Experience preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; intermediate level Excel skills; and Workday or other HRIS with ability to manipulate data
- Effective oral and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality
- Flexibility to provide support to all departments when needed
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work with excellent organizational skills
- Team player who takes initiative to make improvements and accomplish work before being asked and collaborates well in a team environment
