What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio/Video Technician position at BJ Services?
Requirement:
· Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms systems.
· Strong customer service and experience with executive-level support
· Ability to work closely with the IT Services team responsible for providing first and second-level IT support.
· Ability to train users on how to use MS Teams Rooms Systems.
· Participation in the installation of AV Systems - including audio and video conferencing equipment, digital signage, control systems, and all presentation systems.
· Ticket management for incoming or ongoing incidents.
· Escalate in accordance with standard procedures.
· Assist with any root cause analysis.
· Ability to support Crestron control systems.
· Ability to support Biamp DSP.
· Assist in Asset Management by helping to track materials across AV Systems.
· The technician will follow all standard procedures for asset tracking, tagging, storage, and e-waste where appropriate.
· Follow all policies, standards or safety guidelines
· Perform all necessary pre-event checks as required.
· Liaise with cross-functional teams and internal users before and during events.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent. [Advanced degrees or certificates in AV technology or related field are a plus.
· 2-5 years of experience in AV setup and operation.
· Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Familiarity with various types of audio-visual equipment and software.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
