Role Purpose
Extrapolates data from medical records and maintaining the Trauma Registry. Utilizes expertise in computer data entry to maintain an accurate database that is utilized for quality improvement activities. Develops, maintains, supports and implements system upgrades. Tests and coordinates all new version installs.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains, supports, tests and implements system upgrades of Trauma Registry.
  • Obtains and inputs data from clinical sources, services and hospital departments.
  • Collaborates with the Missouri Department of Health and the Trauma Registry Company for data collection and management
    and assists in filing requests for data.
  • Manages the trauma registry database. Monitors trends in registry usage and data.
  • Identifies continuing education needs for department.
  • Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
