Previous scheduling, charge reconciliation and GI lab experience preferred.
Communicates to patients via phone 1 week out from scheduled procedure. Completes screening, history, education and answers questions patients have regarding their procedure. Communicates with doctors’ offices regarding patient questions for follow up. Communicates cancelations to the scheduling department and doctors’ offices to optimize scheduling.
Competent in scheduling and can step into the scheduling role to assist with times of high volume, call-ins and vacations.
Competent in charge capture review and can assist the office coordinator with ordering and reconciling charges during times of high volume, call-ins or vacation.
Competent in functions of the GI lab and can step in times of high need to assist in patient care.

Overview
Missouri Baptist Medical Center, an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services.
