What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROJECT MANAGER - SR position at BJC?
Remote opportunity! (Must live in the St. Louis area)
This position is responsible for managing large complex projects with partners both internally and externally. Projects will include initiatives from BJC HealthCare’s community health improvement strategic plan, as well as larger responsive initiatives connected to identified community need. This project manager role is expected to have deep knowledge of community as well as familiarity with health equity, social determinants of health, and health disparities to best execute on project work. Community engagement will be required. Experience working in / knowledge of violence prevention and unhoused homeless populations is preferred.

Manages multiple or large projects including subprojects and project teams in order to achieve engagement goals and reach successful business outcomes. Project assignments, team size and duration will vary and can be large in scope, complexity and strategic alignment.Performs and manages tasks and team members related to:- Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis and tracking- Change management- Team facilitation- Risk/issue identification and mitigation- Stakeholder tollgates/reports- Conducts training in project management consistent with PMI and PMBOK
