The Pastry Chef reports to the Executive Sous Chef and is responsible for the daily production of all baked goods and pastries for our restaurants and banquets. This position works with the Executive Sous Chef to create dessert menus, manage inventory and ordering, manage cost controls, and ensure that all quality standards are maintained. The Pastry Chef works out of our new, state-of-the-art kitchen in The Lodge, which opened in May.
Our ideal applicant has at least 3 years of experience as a pastry chef or pastry sous chef (pastry chef certification will set you apart!), can work well independently and as part of a team, is flexible and creative, and can work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience with wedding cakes is required.
This is a regular, full-time position. Pay is from $28.00/hr tips, based on skills and experience.
