Job Opportunity: Front of House (FOH) Manager at Black Cactus

Black Cactus is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House (FOH) Manager. This role is integral to maintaining our high standards of service and enhancing the overall guest experience. We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and have a background in managing cocktail bars or coordinating special events, as these experiences are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the front of house, ensuring smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.
• Train, mentor, and manage FOH staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the FOH.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and prompt resolution.
• Assist in planning and executing special events, ensuring all details are meticulously managed.
• Manage inventory and ordering of FOH supplies, including bar stock.
• Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a FOH Manager or similar leadership role in a high-end restaurant setting.
• Strong background in cocktail bar management and/or special events coordination is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
