SERVICE COORDINATOR
- Process quotes and service orders for both internal and external customers.
- Assist in tracking and coordinating preventative maintenance work orders.
- Assist in answering phones/emails and resolving customer disputes.
SUMMARY:
Black Equipment is looking for a Service Coordinator to process quotes and service orders for internal/external customers. Position will include handling customer repairs and questions as well as work with the Service Manager to ensure timely action taken in areas of disputes. Position will also include maintaining quotes and repair orders by ensuring they are opened and closed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively within a team and with customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ensure repairs/quotes are completed in a timely manner and billed appropriately.
- Advise customers of needed service works and prepare quotes as needed.
- Obtains purchase orders from customers or email correspondence for service work.
- Assists with clerical duties and answering phones
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
Ideal candidate will have the following:
- A strong mechanical aptitude with 2-3 years of service writing experience is a plus
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Organizational, planning, multi-tasking, and follow up skills
- Interpersonal skills - ability to confidently act with individuals at all levels of authority
