Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
Skills:
- Hospitality: Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Food Service: Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service.
- Cash Handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions, including giving change.
- Sales: Upselling drinks or promoting specials to increase sales.
- Customer Service: Interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Basic Math: Performing calculations for cash transactions, measuring ingredients, or determining drink ratios.
