Job Posting for Analyst, HR Technology at BlackLine
Responsibilities:
Conducts day-to-day HRIS activities and aligns with the overall strategy and roadmap
Assists in the execution of projects and in the design, implementation and support of all HR Technology functionality
Handles and responds to inquiries and requests, providing functional and technical support
Investigates system issues as the first point of contact and handles escalation as appropriate
Supports the analysis of requirements and processes in order to create more automation, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and the overall end-user experience
Creates ad hoc reports and provides analytics as needed
Participates in conducting testing, managing system issues, and release management
Assists with preparation of annual People programs such as performance management and compensation planning
Builds relationships with other members of the People Team and stakeholders and supports them from a technical perspective
Provides training to other systems administrators and the People Team
Creates and maintains process, system, and end-user documentation
Works closely with other members of the People team to ensure the data integrity of the system and makes recommendations on how this can be improved
Stays up-to-date on system upgrades, releases and new functionality
Qualifications:
Exceptional technical skills
Knowledgeable of HR information systems and report writing tools
2 - 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Ability to analyze data and detect meaningful trends and patterns
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities
High-accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently, multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial team and customer-focused work environment
Must be able to demonstrate time management finesse while taking on projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to end users with limited technical knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to build rapport and trust with all levels of the organization
Experience with SuccessFactors
Degree in human resource management, computer information systems, or similar, preferred
