Role, Impact and Responsibilities
Product pages on our public facing websites are our most scaled venue for meeting regulatory requirements and distributing marketing content at BlackRock. As demand for ETFs and supporting product information accelerates, delivering this level of product detail at scale in a quality and risk controlled way requires a world class operating model across iShares and supporting business partners & processes.
Aligned with this vision, the product data strategy team’s mission is to drive our thinking in how we represent our products to the world through data, supported by an engagement model built for scale, resiliency and long-term growth. This role will build on this mission, significantly expanding and scaling our approach across the Americas region.
The role reports to the senior product data strategist and requires tight collaboration across the broader BlackRock ecosystem to identify barriers that impede product page data progress along with a creative approach to crafting solutions. Success in the role is applying a risk aware lens as well as a drive to advocate for and address commercial imperatives stacked against extending our reach through our most scaled distribution medium, the web. Responsibilities include:
- Partner with leadership to drive the vision and strategy for product pages
- Manage the periodic cross-functional forum including agenda, materials, recaps and follow ups
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify operational solutions that improve our ability to deliver a product page experience that is robust and responsive to investor needs
- Foster deeper connectivity with other regions and functions at BlackRock that consume product data
This is a dynamic role with the opportunity to help catalyze our vision for product data and define how our people, processes and technology should be organized to deliver.

Qualifications and experience
- BA/BS required
- Ability to build relationships within the firm and drive business outcomes through strong coordination across technology teams, sales, product teams and regional business leads
- Strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate and communicate complex concepts into simple terms
- Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a ‘student of the markets’ mentality
- Demonstrated track record of driving results and working collaboratively through difficult problems in a fast-paced environment
- Highly collaborative nature and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
