What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Patrol Officer position at Blackwater Public Safety?
Blackwater Public Safety (PPO 17627) will be accepting applications and doing interviews.

Irwindale Patrol Office HQ
Night Shifts, -4 Shifts On / 4 Shifts Off rotations (10 Hours Shifts) 8pm-6am
Duties & Requirements Include:
- Patrol an area for any safety or security risks
- Carry a weapon for de-escalation and defensive purposes
- Prevent unauthorized access to the area and the items within
- Respond to reported incidents as necessary
- Monitor a closed-circuit television for potential issues
- Maintain a log of any activities
- Document any visitors to the property
- Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary
- Firearms Permit (BSIS certification); Baton and Pepper Spray permits are a plus
- Guard Card
- Law enforcement, security, or military experience strongly preferred
- CPR certification is a plus
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Reliable form of transportation
- Physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work overnight, on weekends, and on holidays
- Observational and communication skills
