What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Laborer (975 Sparta) position at Blattner Company?
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Work with civil crew assisting in installation/removal of silt fence, installing culvert pipe, placement of signs, layout of roadways, and assisting wherever else is needed
- Load, unload, and stack equipment and materials
- Set up jobsite trailer and tear down at the end of the project
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experience
- The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screen
- Willingness to travel and relocate to the job site (100% travel)
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
- Previous hard labor experience
- Experience operating heavy machinery
