Our team has an immediate need for a highly skilled and passionate full-time school-based Registered Nurse. This is a contracted positionfor the 2023-2024 school year in Oroville, California.
Job Overview:
- Full-Time: 30-37 hours/week
- 2023-2024 School Year
- School-Based at multiple campuses (Special Education Classroom)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing services to students with various medical needs in a school setting.
- Assess and monitor student health conditions and respond to emergencies.
- Work in a Special Education Classroom with students with IndividualizedEducation Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans. (IHPs).
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California.
- School Nurse Certification Required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- CPR and First Aid certifications
