Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of pharmacy technicians, owning the success of end-to-end script transfers to provide an exceptional patient experience
- Manage team resources and queues to ensure SLAs are achieved
- Accountable for team member performance metrics vs. established goals
- Identify roadblocks and help develop solutions to increase operational efficiency
- Train, mentor and coach junior team members
- Work closely with pharmacists to process claims and resolve errors that may occur during processing
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy leadership to assist in operational oversight of the pharmacy team
- Ensure all tasks are performed in a safe and compliant manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as state and federal laws
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment
- Performs other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Current national pharmacy technician certification required
- Minimum 3 years experience as a pharmacy technician
- Prior management and/or supervisory experience in a fast paced metrics driven environment strongly preferred
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to coach team members
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to hold team members accountable to established goals and metrics
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new software
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
