Event Planner

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to join our team. As an Event Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of events, ensuring that they run smoothly and meet the needs of our clients. From corporate conferences to weddings, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our clients and their guests. Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute events from conception to completion, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and event logistics - Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and vision, and provide creative ideas and solutions - Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions - Coordinate event timelines, schedules, and production plans - Oversee event setup, including decor, seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary elements - Coordinate catering services and menu selection based on client preferences - Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during the event - Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred - Proven experience in event planning or related role - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Upselling skills to promote additional services or upgrades to clients - Knowledge of catering industry trends and best practices - Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required If you have a passion for creating memorable events, excellent organizational skills, and a strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.
