M&A Strategy Associate

We are rapidly growing our Corporate Development and Strategy efforts and are looking for talented associates to support the team. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

• Assist in managing deal flow for acquisitions and strategic investments 
• Conduct market research including industry landscapes, trends, etc. with the goal of identifying key opportunities to acquire or strategically invest in 
• Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess the merits of potential acquisitions within a short turnaround 
• Synthesize research and prepare internal materials (financial models, investment memos, presentations, etc) to support strategic recommendations
• Help with deal execution by proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders and managing cross-functional due diligence processes, including identifying and flagging risks and associated mitigation plans 
• Effectively manage multiple projects and work streams under tight deadlines 
• Assist in relevant work streams related to post-close transition  
• Develop cross-functional relationships throughout the organization and support other teams proactively as needed to leverage and broaden technical / product knowledge

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

• Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity or venture capital with focus on Technology / FinTech 
• Passion for financial markets and curiosity and willingness to learn about crypto
• Driven, proactive, self-starter, eager to learn various aspects of M&A projects
• Robust analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills 
• Excellent project management skills
• Comfortable with changes to work product and multiple iterations 
• Ability to build and maintain enduring internal and external relationships 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
