Job Description

A Boutique Manager at Blooming Boutique Long Neck is responsible for managing the sales, operations, asset protection, and human resources function of the boutique to assure a great customer experience and optimum profitability. Boutique managers will need to motivate and inspire their team to achieve productivity and sales goals.

**Please note this job will be doing on-the-job training in Lewes for 30-45 days**

Duties

The duties of the retail business manager may vary depending on the establishment. Here are the general duties of the Boutique Manager:

Selling

  • Greeting Customers
  • Meeting Sales Goals
  • Clientelling
  • Loyalty Program
  • Master the Art of Promotion

Marketing/Digital Marketing

  • Submitting Content Weekly for Social Media & Various Marketing Campaigns
  • Execute Marketing Programs and Events to Company Standards
  • Post Event Clean-up &
  • Participate/Execute Virtual Events in accordance with Marketing Standards

Staff Development

  • Manage Employees; motivating them to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Participate in hiring efforts
  • Assign workers to specific tasks
  • Train & Follow-up Employees
  • Timesheets Review & Scheduling
  • Phone Etiquette

Customer Service

  • Customer Service (Complaints, etc.)
  • Responding to Questions

Inventory Management

  • Product Check-In & Physical Pricing
  • Placing orders and contacting vendors as necessary

Financial Management

  • Handling Money & Financial Transactions

Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain Store Appearance
  • Merchandising Displays
  • Windows
  • In-store
  • Marketing Materials
  • Maintain overall Aesthetics & Cleanliness
  • Safety

Store Operations

  • Ensure the store has supplies to function efficiently
  • Submitting Supply Forms
  • Policy Implementer
  • Submit Requests to Marketing including Specific Signage

Requirements

· Dependable, Disciplined, Self-Driven, Enterprising and Efficient

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

Working Conditions

Boutique managers usually work normal store hours including weekends. Working nights and holidays may be necessary periodically. They typically spend more than 40 hours per week at work, and their job often involve lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing on their feet for up to 8 hours. They may also have to maneuver around the sales floor and stockrooms, which are often dark and dusty.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
