Roles and Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:
- Direct, plan, create and coordinate marketing efforts with the support of a Junior Designer.
- Manage social media channels: create a schedule and content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and monitor, respond, and engage with audiences.
- Optimize and proactively seek new and engaging community content.
- Manage an inventory of marketing collateral including: digital flyers, brochures, emails, signs, and other materials to support leasing teams.
- Copywrite for social media, community newsletters, internal and external communications.
- Monitor and maintain online systems including websites, applications, and listings sites to ensure accuracy, and navigate support tickets between various vendors.
- Work alongside operations team to identify opportunities to improve lead traffic and create quality experiences for our prospective tenants.
- Manage vendor relationships for website development and ILS platforms.
- Establish and maintain reporting, KPIs and tracking metrics for digital traffic.
- Liaise between Marketing and Events team to provide event support and manage third party platforms.
- Audit and analyze communications and marketing programs and establish best practices and process workflows.
- Maintain and create new relationships with local retail and restaurant tenants.
- Foster relationships with community partners, managers, and leasing agents.
Qualifications of the Marketing Manager:
- 5 years experience working with a real estate management company, developer or commercial real estate firm.
- Bachelors in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or equivalent.
Proficient in the following:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Familiar with email distribution platforms ie. Mailchimp and website management tools ie. WordPress
- Metrics-driven, hands-on and results-oriented
- Exceptional verbal and written skills
- Able to move and react in a fast-paced work environment
