Job Description
Blu Petroleum is looking to hire a full-time Credit Analyst 1. The Credit Analyst will independently perform AR and credit reviews for Blu; general AR, review customer accounts, reconcile bank postings, and produce detailed fuel reports. Additionally, will act as support for various departments as needed.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Performs ongoing accounting transactions including, but not limited to bank posting and reconciliations, executive reports, etc.
- Proactively review active customer accounts daily.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of cash receipts.
- Maintain AR supporting documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Uphold creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Promptly respond to AR inquiries daily.
- Support in projects, audits, and other duties (as needed).
Essential Functions:
- Send weekly/monthly statements
- Monthly reporting to supervisor
- Analyze and reconcile bank account
- Analyze and reconcile customer accounts
- Collaborate with sales/service staff to resolve issues
Required Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers
- Strong organization skills, yet ability to adapt to changes
- Team player
- Proficient in record keeping and data entry
- Possess critical thinking and analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with general AR functions
- Ability to identify priorities
- Competent in aggregating tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
