Job Description

Blu Petroleum is looking to hire a full-time Credit Analyst 1. The Credit Analyst will independently perform AR and credit reviews for Blu; general AR, review customer accounts, reconcile bank postings, and produce detailed fuel reports. Additionally, will act as support for various departments as needed.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Performs ongoing accounting transactions including, but not limited to bank posting and reconciliations, executive reports, etc.
• Proactively review active customer accounts daily.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of cash receipts.
• Maintain AR supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Uphold creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Promptly respond to AR inquiries daily.
• Support in projects, audits, and other duties (as needed).

Essential Functions:

• Send weekly/monthly statements
• Monthly reporting to supervisor
• Analyze and reconcile bank account
• Analyze and reconcile customer accounts
• Collaborate with sales/service staff to resolve issues

Required Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers
• Strong organization skills, yet ability to adapt to changes
• Team player
• Proficient in record keeping and data entry
• Possess critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with general AR functions
• Ability to identify priorities
• Competent in aggregating tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
