What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Blue Cave Restaurant?
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable bartender that will be able to use their expertise to create new cocktails as well as the classics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails
- Able to know and promote bar items, all food menu items, and any promotions
- Process payments for customers
- Makes suggestions based on customers tastes
- Clean glasses and bar utensils
- Ensures bar area is clean and sanitized at the end of shift
- Record and prepare cash receipts and record cash balances
- Open and maintain tabs throughout the night
- Build a rapport with customers to create a positive experience
- Provide opening and closing inventory of spirits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year bartending experience
- Knowledge of wines and wine service is an asset
- Excellent bartending skills and knowledge
- Display high initiative, be self-motivated, and require minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
