Analyzes large group benefit information and ensures that accurate documentation is distributed to internal stakeholders in a timely manner. Manages assigned projects. Identifies and implements solutions that reduce reliance on manual efforts and promote scalability and reporting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience

4 years – Experience in healthcare, business or related field

2 years – Experience with medical and/or specialty benefits

2 years – Experience in computer programming, analytics or data publishing

1 year – Experience in project management or process improvement

Required Education

High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study

Preferred Work Experience

8 years – Experience in healthcare, business or related field

7 years – Experience with medical and/or specialty benefits

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Programming or related field(s) of study

Active, current, and unrestricted AZ Department of Insurance Life and Health Insurance License

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Audit group paperwork to identify contract benefits and ensure information is accurate and complete.

Ensure required paperwork and documentation is completed, reviewed and distributed to our internal partners in a timely manner.

Track status of large group paperwork from initial notice of renewal through release of paperwork through workflow systems.

Work with Benefit Book Administrators to ensure benefit book accuracy and timeliness.

Research and analyze benefit inconsistencies and coordinate with appropriate areas to make corrections.

Comprehend language and benefit changes affecting benefits and corresponding paperwork.

Participate in multi-departmental meetings and/or engage in special projects.

Develop documentation needed for internal execution of implementation tasks for new or renewing clients.

Analyze manual workflow processes and implement automated and / or data storage solutions to increase efficiencies and reduce manual interventions

Develop, program and maintain systematic auditing of various data points pertaining to benefits and administration

Train and support team members and affected matrix partners on changing needs and processes

Develop and maintain desk level documentation in connection with emerging automation or procedural changes

Manage or take a lead role in assigned projects

Invest in relationships to successfully influence and build shared goals to achieve optimal implementation results.

Provide guidance and direction for escalated issues and engage management when needed.

Ensure appropriate use of tools to track and monitor the performance of all tasks associated with a project.

Leverage technology, programming or existing licenses to improve accuracy

Back up and assist Manager of Client Implementation as needed.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
