JOB SUMMARY
Maintains revenue audits books in compliance with accounting practices, policies and procedures by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Audits manually written or online data.
- Examines revenue receipts, cage transactions, revenue receipts originating in the count rooms, cash receipts, sale tickets, and similar items to verify accuracy of recorded data.
- Checks for proper codes
- Corrects errors or lists discrepancies for adjustments.
- Computes percentages and totals and compares results the recorded entries.
- Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ten key and good math skills. Must have good filing skills and be computer literate. Experience in basic accounting procedures and cooperative office spirit.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Team Members of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
While employed, you must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License.
