Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Counselor to be part of our Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Team in Franklin, NC
A newly hired Counselor/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

The Intensive In-Home (IIH) Counselor Position is responsible for providing a wide array of services to children and their families. Interventions used address the functional problems associated with the complex and/or complicated conditions of the identified population. These interventions are strength –based and focused on promoting symptom stability, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest level of functioning in the community. This is a direct and indirect periodic service where the Intensive In-Home Staff provides direct intervention and also arranges, coordinates, and monitors services on behalf of the recipient. This service is provided in any location, (i.e. homes, schools, community, the office) to an individual child and family. Staff are available to assist with 24/7 crisis intervention and stabilization.
What We're Looking For::
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling-must be licensed or license eligible (LCAS/LCAS-A preferred)
- One year of full time experience with the mental health population
- Ability to perform bio-psychosocial assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
- Experience with Electronic Health Records
- Experience in individual and family therapy including recovery work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Bilingual preferred
